Great day out at the Cakau Lekeleke, late start with little wind so made good time getting out there. No birds and very little action around, two other boats were out there, they hadn't seen any action either.Ben changed tactics by deploying some of the craziest looking teasers and rigging up some garfish on the outriggers. In no time 30 kg Wahoo jumped on that garfish bait that Ben set up. Must have shaken the hook and got snagged in the fish's side behind it's gills. Took over half n hour to bring it in. By far the biggest fish i have caught. Cheers Ben and Jo for a once in a life time catch and a fun day out.
